SCREEN PRINTING FAQs

Screen Printing is a printing technique used to decorate t-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, bags and other substrates by pushing ink through a mesh screen onto the item. It is a cost-effective way to have both small and large orders printed.

Fast-Trac Designs can screen print many items, including most apparel, real estate signs, posters and more! Please do not hesitate to ask if you have something that you would like screen printed. Normal print size for an item can be up to 12″x17″. If you are interested in oversize printing, we can print up to 17″x22″ for an additional fee.

Once a design is approved we have a normal 7 business day turnaround and have rush order service available. We are happy to accommodate any timeline whenever possible.

Pricing depends on 4 key factors:

  • Quantity of shirts – the best pricing starts at 12 quantity
  • Brand, style, and color of shirts
  • Amount of colors in the artwork
  • Amount of print placements (Front, back, sleeve, tag…

Unlike embroidery, the size of the design does not change the price of a normal size print. The price is based on the amount of colors in the design and the quantity of items receiving the same print.

EMBROIDERY FAQs

Embroidery is a technique of decorating apparel, fabric or other materials with a needle and thread. In our case, it is done by a machine that has multiple heads and is attached to a computer instructing it how to embroider the item. The customers artwork is digitized and then goes into the embroidery program where it is then read by the machine.

Embroidery is the perfect solution to enhance polo shirts, work jackets, uniforms, bags, towels, aprons, denim, hats, tote bags or even t-shirts with your brand.

Yes, keep in mind that embroidery is primarily used for smaller logos. After a certain size, it may be more cost effective to consider screen printing. For example, large colorful prints on t-shirts or names or jerseys.
